Coffee Table

Made from the wood of a salvaged Big Leaf Maple tree on the UW campus.  Each layer of the base is intentionally carved and fitted from the natural shape and contours of tree trunks.

 

Like the natural design process, the shape of the coffee table is organic, with suspended glass vase that carries plants and flowers to breathe life into the piece and the space it occupies.
